 Excellent Product - but heavy! (and watch your fingers...)Feb 19, 2007
After my husband had a conventional aluminum ladder tip and cause him to fall while working on gutters, we decided to buy a premium-quality ladder. The footprint of the Little Giant ladder is wide, so it is very stable. We have used it in both extension-ladder and step-ladder mode. It feels solid when standing on it, and does not rock or pitch. It is extremely sturdy, and nicely finished.
Two problems that we have encountered: (1) It is heavy, and that may be problematic for some users, (2) BE CAREFUL when sliding it into the shortest configuration - you can get your fingers caught! We are giving it 5 stars, because the finger-pinching problem is mostly a matter of being careful and paying attention to what you are doing, and is not a result of a defect of the product.
The ladder is expensive, but good quality items are priced accordingly.

Product is Great, but Watch the Wing CompanyOct 21, 2005
I love this ladder. I purchased the 22 foot model. Had a cheaper Werner folding ladder before, the Little Giant is better hands down. But, the company supplying the ladder is something else. It took from June until August to get my ladder. When I got the thing they over charged me $277.90. I called and got that straighten out. On my first payment (4 easy payments) they over charged me $9.00. Still haven't got credit for that. This month they over charged me $3.00. My payment is $99.59. The keep saying "I don't know why accounting is doing that". Watch the Wing company, but once you get your ladder and pay for it, you'll love it.
Update: After 3 email messages (very hard to talk to someone over the phone)they admit a problem with the accounting department. Well, I'm not getting a refund, the accounting department is taking the $12 off of my final payment. Keep your fingers crossed
Update: Guess what! On the last payment they overcharged me again!. I threatened to dispute the transaction, but patiently waited (again they promised a credit). I finally got the credit they owed. Whew! Anybody looking for an accounting job? Give Wing Enterprises a call. They need help. The ladder is great.

Great Ladder, but a little leavyAug 21, 2005
Simply a great ladder. Fully extended it is 11 feet. 11 feet is a really tall A frame ladder. It's pretty heavy, but I'm not sure how they could make it lighter though. The Little Giant ladders are already lots lighter than the Chinese made clones. ( Werner and Gorilla ladders ) If you have access to a wholesale account at Graingers...they are $325 for the 26' model , but you don't get the free work platform...that's $29. You still get the lifetime warranty. I'm not sure of the Graingers cost on the 22' ladder. It's very sturdy and rigid. Fully retracted it will lay in a short bed pickup with the tailgate closed.

Great ladder but pretty heavyJul 31, 2005
I went to a distributor and bought this ladder (Model 26). They had a model 17 in the showroom, but they wouldn't take out a model 26 for me to try it (yes, I must buy it first). If I had tried the model 26 before buying it I'd go with a lower height one (a model 22 probably).
Pros: Very steady, configurable, the staight up configuration is specially useful. Lifetime warranty.
Cons: Very expensive. Model 26 is very heavy. It takes two people to properly and safely set it up and operate in telecope mode (fully extended). In their AD they say model 26 can reach to the tip of the roof of a two-story house, but most houses I seen is higher.
Watch the DVD that comes with the ladder! It shows you how to setup the ladder.

 Warning Product never arrives Company liesDec 23, 2004
Ordered on November 27 and as of December 23 the product has not arrived. Amazon, distributor and manufacturer all promised Chrismas delivery. Spent many day begging for my ladder. Liars!!!!
