Great Product !Jun 03, 2008
This works very good, all you have to do is put it on your pimples at night and the next morning you can barely see them, sometimes they are gone. I love this product !!

I put it at night, sleep with it on and the next day when I go to the bathroom to take it off and look at myself in the mirror I try to find a pore but I can't. It makes zits appear smaller faster and leaves your skin feeling incredibly smooth to the touch. I use it 3 times a week as directed, but sometimes I cheat and I use it more than that and no harm done. This stuff is really good, believe me. Of course, you can't use this alone to treat your acne, this is part of the proactiv system which I use in combination.

Proactiv Refining mask is Proactiv's BEST PRODUCTJan 13, 2008
A friend had the whole line of Proactiv,and I tried all of her products,and the Refining mask is one of the best products I have ever tried,if not THE best.Unfortunately,Proactiv does NOT sell it by itself on its own website,so I had to search everywhere to find it by itself.I was suprised but pleased to find it on Amazon.Unlike the rest of the Proactiv products,the refining mask contains sulfur,the rest of their products contain benzoyl peroxide which can irritate even non-sensitive skin.This is so gentle that you can sleep in it,and makes your skin really soft.I have used it on my 11 year old and 13 year old,and it doesn't irritate their skin at all,but really helps with blackheads and excessive oil.
You can use it all over the face twice a week,and then just on the 'as-needed' areas on a daily basis.I was told not to use it more than twice a week,but I tried anyway,and it was fine.No redness or peeling or other bad side affects.Just after I recieved my mask in the mail,by coincidence,I read the Feb. issue of 'Lucky' magazine,if you read the article on how to get 'perfect skin' on page 98,they recommend the mask as one of the best products.It is NOT an advertisement,it is just an article by the beauty editors who write about their favorite products.The article does have one 'mistake',they say you can buy it directly from www.proactiv.com. This is not true,they offer it as a 'bonus gift' if you buy the whole kit,but save your money and just get the mask.It works equally well on anyone from 11 to 39,it makes pores practically dissapear,and leaves your skin really soft.I had heard sulfur based products had an unpleasant smell,and was concerned about that,but it does not have a strong smell at all(and I have a really sensive nose,and have allergies as well.)I have spent hundreds of dollars on products looking for the 'right' one,and I am so happy I found this one,I just cannot say enough good things about it.Because of it,when I am looking for a new product,I look for 'sulfur' in the ingredients.This product works well with MDSkincare's 'Correct and Perfect' Spot treatment cream,since you cannot wear the proactiv during the day.Just use the refining mask at night,and the 'Correct and Protect'during the day.Both products last a long time,as you only need a thin layer of the mask,and same with the 'Correct and Perfect',just a little bit will take care of it.
I have tried much more expensive products that did not work as well as the refining mask.Check around on different website,even the sites that are critical of Proactiv usually say something good about the mask.
Everythingonline is the company that ended up sending the Proactiv,and they were very professional and prompt,wonderful customer serviece.There may be other companies selling this product on Amazon.com,but if there are,I didn't see any of them.
