 Non-edible PuffsMay 28, 2008
This product is a disgrace to pancakes! My younger brother talked my mom into getting it. He even bought some brownie mix to make brownie puffs. When we tried making pancake puffs, we had to destroy half of them to flip them and only one survived. It was a little bit bigger than a quarter. When we tried making brownie puffs, it was even worse. They all got torn apart and burnt and I'm not even sure they were edible. We ended up returning it to the store. This is the last "As Seen on TV" product I will ever want.

This product works great - easy to use and easy to clean. I first spray it with Pam Cooking Spray and nothing sticks. I love it and so do kids. It takes some time to make a whole batch (you can only make 7 at a time) but it's worth it.

CHEAP PRODUCT, DO NOT BUY!!! As a previous review has said, the finish came off after one use. I also noticed some black flecks in the oil while brushing it BEFORE using and dismissed them. Hopefully not LEAD based. These are being advertised to kids, but eating non-stick coating is NOT GOOD FOR KIDS.

My family was very excited about getting this and couldnt wait to try it out after seeing the numerous infomercials stating how great it was. We followed the directions exactly. No matter what you use (oil, butter, non stick cooking spray) the pancake batter WILL stick to the pan. Very hard to clean after this happens. And you cannot flip them with a wooden stick because they will be ruined. Even if you can get one to come out, they are very tiny and not even close to being big enough to "inject" anything into. We are returning the product to the store. :(

This product is very good. I can't speak for all over types, but it works great in a gas oven. The instructions are very vague, but I have found that heating the broiler on high to warm the oven for about 15 minutes makes the puffs come out perfect. I bought this product to give breakfast a different twist for my husband and I who get very bored with eating the same thing all of the time. My husband has begged me to make these for breakfast everyday since I purchased this. I certainly found a winner for my home!!!
