I would like to say that I use these Blendy Pens everyday to add fun to me and my daughter's bonding experiences. Putting a price on the sentimental time that we have spent together using these pens is priceless. Blendy Pens not only creates new colors, but it also creates stronger relationships.

The Blendy Pens are hard for my 6 and 7 year old girls to use. You have to twist the markers in opposite directions in the "chamber" in order for the colors to touch each other and blend onto the opposite color marker. I guess we didn't understand how the product worked, and were quite disappointed because we couldn't create the same kind of effects shown on the advertisements.

My first experience with Giddy Up Blendy Pens El Grande Kit began different then most I imagine. I had been hitchhiking through middle-america on a quest to find myself. My journey had been going well, and I had met many interesting people and seen many wonderful things. Of course, things changed drastically when I hitched a ride in a blue van headed for Tulsa.
I suppose I should have known something was odd about this windowless blue van, the driver, a modest man, had perfectly parted hair, all slicked down, as if from the 1940's. He wore a pair of oversized aviator sunglasses, a perfectly fit short sleeve dress shirt, and seemed way too eager to help me. After picking me up he kept asking me questions about my general health and the bizarre grin on his face grew ever larger the more he heard. You see, at the time, I had been doing a lot of walking and was in the best shape of my life. Truth be told, I was desperate for a ride and decided to myself that sure, this guy was odd, but everyone has there own quirks. In hindsight I should have never drank the coffee he offered me...
I remember remarking that the coffee tasted a little odd, he simply responded with an, "oh really?" and his grin grew even larger. I will never forget that grin as long as I live. As my vision began to fade the last thing I saw was that terrible grin.
I began to regain conscious on the side of the road. I had yet to open my eyes, but felt a terrible pain on my left side. Instinctively, I reached down to touch the source of the agony. What I felt there filled me with a sense of dread and panic. There was a long, freshly stitched incision on my side. Through my still closed eyes I began to weep with the realization of what had just happened. The man in the van had stolen one of my kidneys.
After what seemed like an eternity of terror and sobbing. I opened my eyes. What did I see before me? I saw the eyes of a laughing, dreadlocked figure, what seemed to be a purple and green stick. As I stared at this drawing I felt all the terror and panic slowly slip away. As I stared into the eyes of this enigmatic character, I wept once more, only this time with joy. You see, it was as if this cartoon man could see into my soul... and he understood me.
It was then that I glanced at the box my new spiritual guide was portrayed on. It was indeed, the Giddy Up Blendy Pens El Grande Kit. Glistening in the morning sun, like a gift from heaven. How did this wondrous package end up here on the side of the road with this broken wanderer? What did it mean to find it here? Was my spiritual journey to find myself complete?
Though still in excruciating pain, I sat up and carefully reached for this gift from heaven, cautious at first, for was it real? As my fingers made contact with its cardboard exterior I knew it was. I shiver went up my spine. I placed the Giddy Up Blendy Pens El Grande Kit in my lap and began to open the package, slowly at first, but than with increasing urgency. When the final layer of packaging was removed the damp morning air filled with a smell that I can only describe as the smell of childlike innocence. As this sent flowed up my nostrils I knew the Giddy Up Blendy Pens El Grande Kit was made just for me. I did not yet know what wonders were to be found inside this mysterious Full Color Retail Box, but I soon found out.
All the colors of the rainbow were before me as I laid my eyes upon the 24 blendy pens. I soon learned that miraculously, the amount of colors available to me was nigh infinite. I wondered if I could write with Blendy Pens to create funky rainbow writing effects. I soon learned the truth. Not only could I do that, but also create realistic backgrounds, with shading and colors that came to life in front of my eyes! Oh serendipity! Of course none of that would have been possible if the Giddy Up Blendy Pens El Grande Kit did not come with ample paper for me to draw, and blend, all my shame and sadness away. It did not take me long before I learned that the longer I held the pens together the more intense the color fusion!
I must of sat of the side of that deserted road all day creating drawing after drawing, pouring all my rage and self doubt into the works. All the while, the blendy pens jubilant mascot staring at me with approval from the package art of the Giddy Up Blendy Pens El Grande Kit. In his wild, bulbous, lopsided eyes I truly found myself that day! When I finished my last piece that evening, I decided it was time to move on. With my renewed spirit I rose to my feet and began toward a new day. Did I take the Giddy Up Blendy Pens El Grande Kit with me you ask? No my friend. I did not. I carefully packed everything back in the box and set it where I found it. Surely the Giddy Up Blendy Pens El Grande Kit was put there for a reason. Perhaps to lead lost souls home, perhaps to mend broken hearts, or perhaps, just perhaps, to remind passers by of all they have forgotten since childhood. I'll never forget the Giddy Up Blendy Pens El Grande Kit, and how it changed my life, and I hope when it finally arrive at your door, you are ready for its inspirational and transformative powers.

Our granddaughter... is into arts and crafts... and she had so much fun with this... she has her own craft table and everything is all set up...

The markers dried out too easily, the colors did not blend like the commercial indicated, very dissapointing to the kids!
