driveway alarm useful, but it has issuesFeb 10, 2007 Because we have a large house & don't always hear visitors knocking we purchased several sensors & set them up in key locations. They work well enough... maybe too good - if it's windy or if birds / shadows pass by the sensor chimes falsely. You may need to turn it off when the wind is blowing, so as not to drive yourself crazy. My German Shepherd is trained to go to the door when the alarm chimes, so it provides extra protection/notification in our house!

okDec 21, 2006 it works very well but the battery life in the sensor dosen't last to long maybe a couple of days before you have to replace it with a new one.
