Description:

You can walk on air to a slimmer, sexier you. One of the simplest - yet most effective - exercises you can do is to just go for a walk. Walking gets your entire body moving, your heart and blood pumping, and it's a great way also to boost your cardiovascular system too. Although walking is an easy and beneficial exercise that you can do - it does have its limits. Unlike other workouts or exercise machines, you can't really increase the intensity or resistance of a brisk walk. As well, walking on a flat surface also has limited benefits and effectiveness too. Eventually, your legs, muscles and body will adapt to the same, repetitive movement. If you love to walk and love how walking makes you feel, but are also seeking to experience a challenging and rewarding walking exercise, then the Air Climber is the fitness machine that you're looking for! The Air Climber is the revolutionary workout machine that uses natural air-power to create an intense and effective exercise routine that'll change and sculpt your body like never before! How it works. The Air Climber uses patented air power technology that creates resistance with every step that you take. Simply pump the bellows of the Air Climber that are located underneath each of the foot pedals. When you step and walk on the Air Climber, air moves between one bellow to the other, therefore creating resistance that your whole body will benefit from. And because the Air Climber uses the power of air, that minimizes the impact and jarring that conventional workout machines would create for your joints and muscles. What that means is that you'll be able to use your Air Climber for a longer period of time, and not feel tired, sore and in pain afterwards. What you get : Air Climber, Personal Training Computer, Exercise Guide DVD, Meal Plan, Body Cords, Jump Start 10 Day Diet, Burn & Firm Workout.

Minimizes impact on joints and muscles, delivers an effective walking workout

Tension and speed dial to create resistance

Uses patented air power technology

1Cheaply constructedJul 10, 2008
I purchased this item thinking it would be something easy and fun to do. When I received it - it was inflated (the infomercial said it would not be) so I read the instructions, inflated hit the button to inflate as it recommended. I got on to see how easy it would be to use and it would not hold the air - it kept going flat. So I got off and hit the button following the directions, re-reading them and tried again - same results, it went flat. So then I thought 'well, it wasn't flat when I received it, so I tried to close it up like the manual said and it wouldn't stay closed - it did not. There is no toll free number or email for the manufacturer for me to call - so I guess I have to pay the long distance charges to complain.

Pros: small, portable
Cons: Doesn't stay inflated (so it defeats the whole purpose), cheaply constructed (all plastic), price for what you get

5Amazing value for the price!! Highly recommended!!Jul 05, 2008
I am a yoga instructor & was looking to add in some variety to my workouts, especially cardio. I saw the infomercial on HSN and purchased this Air Climber despite feeling some trepidation - would this thing really work? Had I just wasted over a hundred dollars?
Boy, can I assure you - my fears were completely put to rest once I popped in the workout DVD and got started!! This is absolutely amazing value for the money. First, Brenda Dygraf is an excellent trainer - she knows what she's doing and she's able to teach it to you effectively. That's a pretty rare combination in my experience. Second, you will get 2 DVD's with 6 workouts -- 3 using the Air Climber and 3 just floorwork (the Cardio Pump requires light hand-weights). There is something for everyone on these DVD's -- some are easier and anything with the word "Pump" in the title will have even the most advanced exerciser sweating up buckets & gasping for breath!! And her Ab routine on the floor is the most effective i've found yet -- I do abs everyday and rarely feel sore, but after doing this puppy it hurt to laugh the next day. A word of advice: you may not feel much with the Air Climber if you don't use the Body Cord & follow the techniques in the videos. You really have to work it - it's not going to do the work for you like an elliptical machine does.

5I LOVE this equipment! Really makes you sweat.Jun 15, 2008
I got mine from HSN. It comes with videos, which are excellent.
It's just like being at the gym, but cheaper!
What a workout!
What's great is, no assembly is required.
You just take it out of the box and you're ready to go!
Be sure you read the directions.
If you don't inflate the bellows prior to use, you can damage the equipment.
For $100, this deal can't be beat!

4Lightweight, convenient, portable air climber. I love mine!Jan 05, 2008
I wrote a comment to the previous review, but I'll repeat it here: I think their first batch of Air Climbers was defective. I purchased one, and I started having problems with the bellows, too. But customer service replaced the unit for me (with no questions asked), and the one I have now has been working flawlessly. It would seem that if you purchase something and right away it doesn't work correctly, you should just call the company and have them replace it, and if for some reason they won't do that, you can dispute it on your credit card. Don't let yourself be a victim for no reason. (One note--I would recommend getting the extended warranty if it's available. It's worth the extra $10.)

I love my Air Climber so much that I'm considering getting a second one so that I can have one upstairs and another one downstairs (even though it's extremely lightweight and easy to carry--just one more plus). At first I just used it several times a week, because I have other exercise routines that I do as well. But then I wanted to get some extra Christmas weight off quickly, so I started using the Air Climber in front of the TV while watching programs and movies that I like. It's been absolutely wonderful for this! I can vary the tension if I want (even though I rarely do,) vary the speed I do it, or just do a sort of easy up and down motion so that I can enjoy myself and not feel like I'm working hard (I don't particularly like exercising, so it really helps to do something pleasurable while I'm doing it). After 20 minutes or so, even if I'm just kind of doing a gentle up and down, I'm still sweating and definitely derive benefit from it.

You can't beat the price (especially on Amazon) for a portable stair stepper that can really get your heart pumping!
